Hello and happy hump day everyone!
I’m pleased to report that I think my cold is finally going away! I only needed a single-digit number of tissues today, and I didn’t feel like I was going to die when I woke up, which is huge progress
I’m hoping that my cough will be better enough to get in some serious workouts in the next few days, because I haven’t worked out in over a week and I’m starting to feel a little restless!

Breakfast today was a breakfast cookie with 1/3 cup oats, 1/2 scoop vanilla protein, a spoonful of White Chocolate Wonderful PB, 1/2 banana, almond milk and goji berries. It was nice and compact, and awesome for bringing into class to eat. I’m also in love with the White Chocolate Wonderful PB now – so delicious!!

Lunch was also eaten on campus – just a simple mix of cooked potato and carrot tossed in a little almond milk and salt + pepper, with a nice, crunchy apple on the side.

Snack was a chocolate chip cookie dough energy bar that the people at Zone sent me to review. It sounded really similar to the Luna cookie dough protein bars, which I like, so I was excited to try it. The taste was really similar, and it really did feel like I was eating cookie dough.

The ingredients list was a little sketchy, though, so I’m not sure I would buy these on my own.

Dinner was half a box of Amy’s pasta with some steamed broccoli mixed in, which was delicious and only took about 15 minutes to make.

With some sparkling water + lime

I had the last 2 pieces of the Vosges bar I picked up the last time I was in Toronto. It was really interesting, with wasabi, ginger and black sesame seeds in it, but I really liked it
I wish they weren’t so expensive, because I’d definitely be stocking up!
Anyway, I’ve gotta run because I have an engineering event to attend tonight! Catch ya later!
And if you have time, make sure to check out my Project Food Blog entry! Voting closes tomorrow!

I JUST came down with a cold and am now trying to annihilate it with fruit, vegetables, tea, sports drinks, and water. However, I think that this is a losing battle.
Of course I voted for your entry in the Project Food Blog competition.
And I think that it’s safe to say that I will be making Annie’s mac and cheese with broccoli tomorrow night for dinner now that I’ve seen how good you made it look. I haven’t had any in a few weeks now.
Oooh I’m glad you liked the taste of the cookie dough bars – I’ve got some to try as well but I’m saving them for Try Something New Tuesday 26 next week! Glad you cold is getting better
I’m totally loving sparkling water lately too! I’ve been picking them up at Trader Joe’s for like, 79 cents a liter. I’ve been having a really hard time drinking enough water lately, which is weird, because (I’m sure you remember) I used to be a total fish. : ) Getting a little variety has really helped.
