Why hello there 
It’s been a while since I last showed my face on the blogosphere, but I have an explanation! I’ve been trying to devote all my energy to my schoolwork and student society directorships this term, which doesn’t leave a lot of free time for blogging.
Although it’s sometimes nice to make a simple dinner and eat it out of a tupperware bowl without having to worry about photographing it, but I’ve definitely missed blogging. Plus, it’s usually more fun than heat and mass transfer problems 
We’ve been having unseasonably warm weather here, and it feels like we’re already in the middle of summer, which means patio weather. A friend of my roommate’s was talking about a place uptown called Ethel’s Lounge that has a “Taco Tuesday” special every week, and we made plans to meet up there for dinner so we could finally see what all the hype was about.
In a university town, $2 for 4 tacos is a pretty good deal.
Plus it saves some room in your budget for a nice, cold beer
The tacos were pretty sparely filled and you could only choose sour cream or salsa, but it was still a really good amount of food for that cheap, and sharing condiments between friends solved the salsa vs. sour cream problem.
Plus it’s always funny taking pictures of people trying to eat tacos:
The best part of being the photographer is that nobody catches you with taco shell and salsa up your nose, muahaha.
After my first Ethel’s experience, I have to say that I’m hooked on the cheap prices and easy location, and I think we’ll find ourselves there again. And you can expect to see a little bit more of me around the blogosphere as well
