When I got home from work today, I was starving. Seriously, what’s with me lately?

I inhaled a Quaker bar I snagged from the HLS before I could even think about my camera, and then ate some cherries in a less barbaric fashion.
I still really wasn’t feeling well – I felt very weak and nauseous, but I decided to head to Zumba anyway because sometimes a little bit of exercise really helps when you’re feeling under the weather. I was so excited to see the regular Zumba instructor back, and when the music started I was so excited to start shakin’. I didn’t realize how much I missed Zumba until then!
Unfortunately, after 15 minutes, my excitement turned to more nausea, and I had to call it quits after only 20 minutes. My mind wanted to jump and sweat, but my body just wasn’t having it. I was so disappointed because I had been looking forward to it so much, but sometimes you need to know when to listen to your body and rest
This made me realize how much my life has changed in the past year. I used to almost never work out, and I would jump at any chance to skip out on the gym. Now I have such a good time that I’m disappointed when I have to miss a workout, because I know I’m missing out on a great time. I used to crave white bread and creamy sauces and processed snack foods. Now I crave healthy foods almost all the time – the grassy taste of Chocolate SuperFood, fresh fruit and natural nut butters. Today at work they had pizza at a lunch meeting – and I almost shocked myself when I realized I didn’t even want to eat it!
I’m not saying that I’m never lazy anymore, or that I never have the urge to inhale Blizzard, but my entire lifestyle has taken a drastic change for the better and I like the direction it’s heading
Today’s dinner was simple, healthy and easy on the stomach.

SIAB made with 1/2 cup chocolate almond milk, 1/2 large banana, 6 cherries, scoop of Chocolate SuperFood, 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder and 5 ice cubes.

Topped with 1/8 cup raw oats toasted in a frying pan with a drizzle of oil and honey, and some almond butter. MaraNatha, of course
It was perfect for my unsettled tummy, and tasted delicious. I followed it with the last of the fresh cherries in the fridge for dessert.

Now I need to sleep early to make sure I’m feeling awesome for the Fresh blogger date tomorrow night. So excited!
Sleep tight!
